MALP (Maternal Lamb Producers Programme)
A number of group members are involved in the MALP programme as part of the Sheep Ireland project run by ICBF (Irish Cattle Breeding Federation).
There is a specific focus on maternal traits as the hill breeds will play an important role in the future profitability of the Irish ewe flock.
